Will The Metaverse Be The New Housing Boom?

It's possible that the metaverse could become a new housing boom, but it's difficult to predict the future with certainty. The metaverse is a virtual world where people can interact with each other and digital objects, and it's rapidly growing in popularity.

In the metaverse, users can buy virtual land, build virtual homes and businesses, and even earn real money through digital transactions. As the metaverse becomes more mainstream, it's possible that virtual real estate will become more valuable and sought-after, leading to a virtual housing boom.

However, it's important to note that the metaverse is still a relatively new concept, and there are many questions about how it will be regulated and monetized. It's also unclear how quickly the metaverse will grow and how many people will be willing to invest in virtual real estate.

Overall, while it's possible that the metaverse could become a new housing boom, it's important to approach this potential trend with caution and keep a close eye on how the metaverse evolves over time.

And so... will some people think they can live in the real estate they buy? I think we're better off taking care of things that are real.

I also prefer to interact with real people - and when possible, in person, not in cyberspace.

Would you buy something , anything or a home that has a value of $700k or more or even less and not examine it physically? Not in my lifetime.

I'm not ready for this and don't believe the average person is -- other than young people and young adults.  I want to see, hear, feel, touch and smell before I sign (digitally or wet)  any offer to purchase -- especially something like a house I am going to live in.  IMHO yes ... but being realistic.  Not in 2023 -- not while I am still here.  (And I have a few years to go ...)
