Would you forfeit .3% of your commission on a $425,000 sale?

If you were the buyers agent and the only hing holding up the deal was 2.5% commission versus a 2.8% commission would you kill the deal?  I am just trying to get an idea of what that means to most of the community.  Is that additional .3% on $400,000 so important that you would not help your buyers because you will only receive 2.5% commission?

James,

I always try to get the deal to work.  If that means less commission, that's okay.  A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.  You have to help your clients.

Do the deal!  It's the homeowners that need to benefit the most IMO.  Make a tad less, move on, get referrals.
