 With all the talk about how bad the market is, I thought I'd compare June sales in St. Charles County, MO in 2007 to June sales in St. Charles County in 2008.  Here is what I found...

Well, I think the numbers look pretty close.  The average days on market is only up 9 days from last year, and the sale price compared to list price is down less than one percent.

It looks like the  market is pretty good in St. Charles County!  :)

That is not bad ...... we do have a much higher decline in prices and the days on market is certainly alot longer.  Our area in New Jersey is a suburb of Manhattan so we were probably more over inflated    NJ is rough, but don't think it is the worst out there.  Homes are selling, just slower and for less $$$$$.  Hopefully, we will once again enjoy the good market that we got so used to.
