I was informed by a phone caller 2 days ago and by my Broker who shall remain nameless. The caller told me that her credit was bad. she was right. I instructed her to close, make payment arangements, or negotiate a deal with these accounts. She then informed me that she had contracted a credit agency to help her. They are helping her by taking $110 dollars a month from her (none of which goes to these accounts) and is sending the creditors letters stating that these are not her accounts. According to them if they don't respond by a certain period of time they have to take it off her account. Are you kidding me. I thought this was a joke. My Broker overheard this and confirmed it. Please let me know if this is true, because I would like to get a personal loan and go to the Bahamas for a month and not pay for it.

Interesting take on the credit scam/credit repair scam. Thank you for alerting us. It does sound like a sweet deal for the credit servicing company!

Yeah, I heard basically all credit repair companies are scam artists and are preying on the hurting.

I've heard of something along this line. People in desperate or difficult times will often look for hope and believe almost anything. Hopefully you can steer your client in the right direction.
