Taking Time off is actually good & healthy for business!

Aloha,

Just took a month of vacation and went to France with my 9 years old son Eliot.

And It's an habit that I am not going to give up...

See... In France (where I was raised), people are use to 5 weeks of paid vacation and if you happened to work for the gov it can go up to 12 weeks. When you look at the statistics comparing countries and work efficiency they are usually place with the 5 top of the list. Why?

Taking time off is like recharging the batteries. Leaving in Hawaii where tourism is the industry number one, is also show me the benefit to get quality time with the self and loved ones.

Every time I come back from my yearly vacation. It is a new me, a new beginning. I am Happy, fresh and excited to be back at work. My creativity is at the top and I totally embrace and love my work and find myself in a space of gratefulness. Then the law of attraction get in effect...

if I would not do that I would be working because I have to, my stress level would be high and what would I have to offer to family, friends, clients and colleague? I would hate myself! and let's not talk about my efficiency...  ;)    Just think about it a minute if you don't have it you can't give it. We work with people that we like and appreciate and if on top of it they are in love with what they do...It work both way.

It is my way to find myself and there is many other ways but this one always has been working for me. I still bring my PC, check my emails and take care of all the Marketing and advertising part but it is different because I am breathing a different air! Thanks to my business partner Vicki who handle everything that I can't do on island  :)

For now I am visualizing my next trip which is Tahiti! and will keep on smiling until then...

It's Summer now...  and time to treat yourself!

Stephanie - I agree 100%, you need a vacation to recharge and rethink your strategies.  By the way I like your choices of vacation destinations, very nice :)

I so agree.  Time away from real estate should be a DRE requirement.  It's so easy to fall into working long hours, weekends and never take time off.  Your vacation/rejuvenation sounds heavenly.
