Beaches in Newport Beach

If you are visiting Newport Beach be sure to stop by and tour our beautiful beaches. You may want to start at the Newport Pier. Known to many us as party central. Here you can stroll on the boardwalk, bike ride, roller blade, or just relax and people watch, it's quite entertaining! You will notice a majority of the homes are rentals and more affordable than other beachfront properties. If you continue down the boardwalk you will end up at the Balboa Pier. Right across from this boardwalk location is the Junior Life Guard Headquarters, there's metered parking here and plenty of shops and restaurants to visit too!

Below is a shot of the boardwalk by the Balboa Pier.

Next take a ride down to the  Peninsula Point you will find yourself at The Wedge. At this beach you will experience 30 foot swells at times. It is recommended to just watch. These boarders and surfers are very experienced, it could be very dangerous if you are not familiar with these types of waves. Look at the view from one of the homes. It was a cloudy day! This is not  the Wedge, but almost there.Ocean view from home on the point

Leave the point and you may want to head over to West Newport. West Newport starts at 36th street and goes to the river jetty's, just before you get to Huntington Beach. These oceanfront homes have no boardwalk therefore you will experience less traffic, but parking is tough!
