Every first weekend of the month our local fair grounds hosts a computer fair. There are always incredible deals to be had. Yes we have to pay $4 to get in but the savings inside are worth it. When I first went to one I went with one of my techies in fact it was my techie that told me about them. I remember buying our first flash drive there a couple years ago, and other supplies as well as some security stuff that was so much less expensive.
Does your area have a local computer fair you could visit even if it is just for the experience of seeing what they have to offer. I know alot of you like tried and true for warranties but I got those too from the vendors backed up by the company.
So how do you find out if your area has a computer fair call or talk to a techie they are bound to know. If you don't have one in your area this weekend CompUSA is burning the midnight oil. They are having a midnight madness sale. Friday Sept. 1st from 6-midnight only. We can never have enough tech toys right?
