Rachael Ray’s Nutrish

Looks like a favorite of mine is expanding her culinary empire, Rachael Ray has launched a charity-driven line of dog foods based on her recipes that she has created for her dog, Isaboo. Rachael Ray’s Nutrish will fund Rachael’s Rescue, which is a charity that helps at-risk animals.

The first beneficiary is a terrier mix named Spirit that was featured in the news earlier this month. Spirit suffered from multiple fractures after he was savagely beaten at the U.S. – Mexico border. Rachael’s Rescue has offered to cover all medical costs for his recovery.

A line for cats is also in the works… cat

It seems I hear so much about animal rescue and the shelters are full of some lovely animals, yet adoptions can't keep up. Pets are such great therapy, especially for seniors, and I know of some who would love the company, but cannot afford it. I would support her cause my dog is finicky, worse than morris the cat.
