The Finer things in life

By
Real Estate Agent with Heather Roda Broker

What exactly are the Finer things in life, Money, a Big house, a well know college for the kids. Yesterday I decided to regroup at least for a few hours. My house, Big enough, I really don't like to clean any way. Money, is there ever enough? Really? I'm lucky enough to have a boat that we get to enjoy! My oldest just graduated and decided to stay home and go to a junior college for his AA first before heading off, to be honest I'm kind of relieved. I rearranged the back patio last night so I can hear the water fountain from inside, talk about a finer thing in life. Theses may seem like little things, but what really are the Finer things? Tonight I will celebrate with my husband 20 years of marriage! That had got to be a Finer thing. Finer than the house, or the money or the boat, Find your Finer things and learn to enjoy them and better yet find someone to enjoy them with, a spouse, your child, a friend, a parent. You wont be sorry.

Lisa, it is nice to do a quick accounting of what you have rather than what you don't. My Mother (who has been a Realtor for 40 years) used to say "if you could have everything- where would you put it?"

Very True! Life is short enough as it is, and you can't take your house with you when you leave! So enjoy what you do have, be appreciative of the things that really matter... not just your house, car, boat etc. Although having a nice house to share with your family does make a difference if I do say so myself! Anyone looking for an investment property in Atlanta, GA? The homes here are beautiful and well priced, you get a whole lot for your money! Call me.

Meaningful post!  Congratulations on your 20th anniversary last night.  I just happened upon your blog today when joining this group.  How interesting!  Our 30th anniversary is today, and we are going out for a nice dinner in Pismo Beach.  He made the reservation for a change, so I have no clue what restaurant we are going to, but I am sure we will enjoy ourselves.  See you tomorrow at the office!
