It is cheap, easy to acquire with less legal restraints and complicated tax structures. Coming from the U.K myself I know how complicated it is to acquire property in Europe! It is not simply getting a realtor to do all the paperwork for you and to find you that great property you've been looking for the past 10 years. It is more of a legal process involving land lawyers and surveyors, with so many people in one transaction it takes forever to close!!! So start investing in the U.S first, get your fingers stuck in the pie here, then venture into new pies!!!
