Give Your Pooch a Job...They'll Work Like A Dog!

Hey, Greg.

Not only do pets put a smile on the grumpiest of people, but they also put many, many smiles on the sick. I spent many a year working with Special Olympics, and those of us with pets would always take them with us to practice, meetings, etc.

At Texas A&M University, I was a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity. We often sponsored pet visits at the homes for the elderly. The smiles on the faces of the elderly were priceless when a dog or a cat would jump up on their lap and take to them, licks, barks, meows, wagging tails, and all.

Here in San Diego I used to belong to a group called Pets Are Wonderful Support. We would take our pets to visit the sick in their homes mostly, but an occasionally visit to the outpatient ward of a local hospital was in order.

Between my pets, my music, and helping people, life is a joy.

The three T's will be able to sell about anything, that it true.  I learned that in my Marketing classes at Boise State University.  The first one gets the guys (and some ladies attention) since they are typically more visual; the "Tots" show empathy, warmth and compassion, and the "Terriers" appeal to everyone.

Haven't seen you for years since a Cyberstar Function.  Good to see your still out there.

 Absolutely, I'm a BIG time animal lover myself and anyone who ever brought a treat, goodie or toy for one of my critters was a a hit with me and with them. ;-)

I never thought to take a bag of dog or cat treats to a listing appt....but one time I did get a listing from a client who owned two standard poodles...they ended up rescuing one and gave him to me so that I could have two standards as well! lol....the picture idea is great...something I never thought of.
