Lake Crest, in Hoover Alabama, is conveniently located between Hwy 150 and Shades Crest Road, just 1 mile from I-459. The community has a nice club house, pool and tennis courts. There is also a large lake with a walking trail around it. The homes include townhomes and carriage homes plus large homes with and without basements. 
Students attend Gwin Elementary, Simmons Middle and Hoover High. The Price of Peace Catholic School is also located within the neighborhood.
