I used to live on 16th Street in Costa Mesa across from the park. Wow, how times have changed since the 1980s. My little house on a R2 lot was worth about $150,000 back then and has since been demolished with two mini mansions in its place.

Hi Elizabeth, looks like you have a fairly active market and a nice average price, ours are quite a lot less on average here in Grand Rapids.

Elizabeth  - I've lived here pretty much my whole life, minus school, etc. and can't believe the changes that have occurred.  So many little houses have been torn down to make way for mini-mansions, especially on the boardwalk in Newport.

Terry - Our prices are so much lower than what they were just a few years ago; it's incredible.

I have a friend who grew up in Orange County who now lives in Grand Rapids who is always amazed at how much house you can get for the price there because it's so affrodable compared to what we're used to seeing.
