Since I've started in the Residential Lending business, I have notice a big change in everything, including almost every form or home financing. We offer a wide range of conventional loan programs from many investors, as well as VA and FHA government programs. We are still working on getting signed up with USDA to provide that benefit to our customers, however, funding for that program has declined. There are many new programs and changes that need reviewing almost everyday, such as FHA risk-based mortgage insurance and Hope for Homeowners act. We do have HUD homeloan programs, teachers programs, firefighter/police officer programs and other HUD Good Neighbor Next Door programs that could benefit some clients. Rates continue to change every day, and sometimes multiple times per day. However, it is my job to stay on top of those changes and pass the benefit off to our clients.
