The big celebration, Beach, Boogie, and BBQ was a huge success and just plain fun!  All the events were well attended and the crowds were huge.  The balmy weather was perfect for the John Michael Montgomery concert.  Even if you were not a fan of JMM at the beginning of the concert, you were definitely a convert by the end.  The Friday night event culminated in an amazing display of fireworks - at one point lighting up the entire sky. 

Saturday was just as much fun.  Lots of activities for the kids, craft booths for the adults, BBQ awards for the many out of attendee competitors.  I was even able to see every one of the antique cars displayed during the day - somewhat accidentally. On the way to work, the traffic cop stopped my car to allow all the old cars to travel to their assigned spots.  It was quite a display.
