Join the Georgia Shrimp Association and the Jekyll Island Authority for the 3rd annual Shrimp and Grits Festival. The festival begins on Friday September 19, 2008 and concludes on September 21, 2008. The festival consists of a golf tournament, cook-offs, live entertainment, kid friendly fun zone and much, much more.
Jekyll Island is a state owned island off the Georgia Coast. Jekyll Island was once home to 60% of the world's wealth. Today Jekyll Island is a state park and only 30% of the island allowed to be developed.
