Traffic is up and improving

One of the key indicators, the survey also asks is fir builders to rate traffic of prospective buyers .

The theory being, as traffic in model homes picks up, then the buying will closely follow. A new homes sales agent (should I mention the builder name ??) in DC Ranch (a home community in North Scottsdale) told me that weekend traffic has picked up significantly.

In fact , whereas the builder as a cost savings effort was going to use only 1 sales person on Saturdays and Sundays, the builder has decided to keep 2 people on site to handle the traffic.

Another agent for a new home builder in Sonoran Mountain Ranch (Phoenix/Peoria) also confirmed the above saying, "we made a decent price reduction and it seemed that the floodgates were opened. I usually leave the office at 5pm and I was there until past 6:30 Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

In fact, agents  in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Peoria, Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, Glendale, Fountain Hills and Paradise Valley and in communities such as Desert Ridge and Troon are telling me that traffic is up.

I speak with agents, upon agents, every day, and the traffic numbers suggest that although we may not yet see it,....we are getting closer and closer to the light at the end of the tunnel
