Twitter

There isn't just one Twitter, you know!
(This one needs a home... Chester County Area?)

Just after our Family Fantasty Football League Draft Night, in the pouring rain, we arrived home to "that sound" in the backyard.  You know the sound...the loud cry for help from a cat.  LittleOne5 was sleeping, so we got her all tucked in.

It was simple, Husband went outside to take care of the cat. Go "shoooo" it (or them?), tell it to go home. My job? I was still talking on Twitter, so I jumped on the computer for a bit before sleeptime.

"You need to come outside", He says.
"No. I'm not coming" I know better.
"Really, you have to see this"
"Husband! If I come out there, I know what's going to happen. Please"
"Please come."

The whole time I'm walking outside I'm saying, I don't want a cat. I can't do this. Hair. Litterbox. Enough said. I don't want a c-- uh oh.

Cowered in the corner by our recycle bins. Meowing for some love. Scared. He says to me, "Please. I don't know what to do. I don't know where I'm supposed to live. Can you help me? Please?"

You know the rest of the story...  whisked inside, he/she lapped up the water, ate some wetted dog food, and I jumped on Twitter to say "What the heck do I do with a kitten?"  and "Cute Kitten needs home. I'll deliver".

I really didn't know what to do with the kitten. My twitterbuds came to the rescue and helped out - it's amazing what @Twitter can do - but that's another blog.

We are loving her already. I think Paris, the cockapoo is the one really attached. There is no question that she/he will stay with us if we can not find a home for him/her (took off out of state - vet visit upon return). Sarah Cooper and my mother say, "You need to keep the cat. He found you." We are still trying to find a home. Until then (if then), our family has increased.

Animals have heartbeats too.

For now, he/she is named Twitter. But she knows its temporary.....

Oh Kim, you will be here in a few hours. We have a kitten now too. No she didn't ask, just brought it home. It looks like this one. Just what I need a kitten and 4 dogs. Oh well, you'll meet them soon enough, chaos.

Kim, humans never ever adopt kitties.  Kitties adopt their humans!  Clearly, this little furr ball wants you and your husband.  And your dog even concurs!

Kim, you simply must keep Twitter!  I'm with Patricia, kittens/cats pick you.  I have 5 right now so I know of which I speak.  Our best cats have always been the ones that curled up on our laps while we were considering an entirely different one.  If you need any more kitten tips email me as I don't Twitter enough to keep up!

Oh my, what a cutie.  And a perfect name.

I have signed up for twitter but not been using it.  Maybe I'd better start, if smart gals like you are on it!!!

all I can say is that I much prefer this twitter to the other one, fun but a waste of time, and a lot of time

I do breed specific rescue for Italian Greyhounds and we keep them in real homes instead of shelters during the rehoming process.  Maybe they have a kitty rescue where she can stay in your home until you have an approved home!  The only problem is that you fall in love with the lil critters before they get to their "forever home" :-/
