Hello to everyone
And to my fellow Hurricane Ike survivors I just want to say that although I am not originally from Houston, TX I have to say that I am proud as a resident in the way that we all came together to help one another while we did not have electricity, water, all our food in our refrigerators was ruined and also having to survive without the basic comforts of Gas, and Groceries stores, and not to mention several jobs lost or closed, We were respectful to our stores and homes of those not in town by not looting and getting angry. I am A Cali-girl forever but I am happy to say I am not ashamed to say I am a Texan as well and a Houstonian, this city has done well and I am Proud. And for all the others still going through not having power and water just be Patient and keep up the good work of showing Southern Manners to your own city they are working Hard. And to the people on Galveston and surrounding Islands that lost so much my prayers go out to you and I know whatever Houston can do to help they will. They were there for Katrina victims and they were Louisianans', you are fellow Texans and what I have learned living here is when you mess with one you mess with all.. "Don't Mess with Texas"
