Remember the saying, " keeping up with the Jonses"? Well, in today's real estate market, it's " Keeping up with the Gen X and Y ers. The baby boomers are just about to settle in their last home if they haven't already. Now real estate agents are forced to deal with people who have grown up in the computer age, that's all they know. They are on all the real estate websites searching and most have specifice homes they want to see BEFORE they even contact an agent.
Forget "The Book" get educaed on how to use todays tools of the trade, the computer and real estate based programs, the smart phone and pda's and of course tools like Activerain
It is imperative for Baby Boomer agents to now be able to keep up with the Jetsons and let the Flintstones go, if you don't, you will find yourself in Bedrock with Fred and Wilma.
