What Have I Missed? Getting Back in the "Swing" of Things Here on Active Rain.

Perhaps some of you may have noticed, I've been "missing in action" here on the Rain. Lots of stuff has been going on in my life in the past two weeks including: my younger sister of 10 years passed, (she is in a much swing dance better place now - has been ill for 20 years) my husband has been very sick with the flu for ten days, and I am doing an "exchange" of homes. My seller is purchasing the home of a buyer that loves her home, and they are thus, buying each other's home. One is upsizing, and the other is downsizing.

It is so amazing how quickly getting out of the "swing" of things grows into hours, days and weeks. I realize that I need to spend more time doing more than just blogging and commenting here on the Rain, and spend more time organizing my life into bite-sized pieces. I love the posting and visiting with each of my friends on the Rain but will be spending less time here than in the past. I'll still be around reading and commenting, but not in my former obsessive way.

I will be sharing, soon, some more photos of trips, and my pearls of wisdom and observations - just less often. ;-)

We do need a balance in our lives and while you may not participate in as often as you did, the will always be in my thoughts.

Teri, I too have missed your little "red self." So terribly sorry to hear about your sister but glad to hear that she is in a much better place. You now have an angel helping to look out after you each day.
