West Hollywood’s October Events

There will be a lot going on in and around West Hollywood , California during the whole month of October. Here are some of the things you can enjoy while here:

October 15^th - Cops 4 Causes. Come out to support our local Cops 4 Causes at their Comedy Uniting Communities, a great comedy event. The event will be held at the Long Beach Laugh Factory. There will be several comedians that will perform at a 7:30 p.m. show and a 9:45 p.m. show.

October 18^th - Rubber Ducky Regatta. Bring the entire family out to join Rick Chambers for the 6^th annual Rubber Ducky Regatta at 10:00 a.m. at Castaic Lake . KCAL-9's Rick Chambers will MC the event, and all proceeds will go toward health care services for underinsured and uninsured residents.

October 18^th - LAPD Hiring Seminar. Come learn what it really takes to be a Los Angels Police Officer. The seminar will be in Los Angels at 9:00 a.m. at the LAPD.

October 19^th - Santa Monica 5000 Race. Join us to participate in the 3^rd annual St. John's Santa Monica 5000 5k and 10k race. Both will be held in Santa Monica . The 5k race starts at 7:30 a.m. and the 10k race starts at 8:00 a.m. Also, enjoy the post-party event and a health and fitness expo at the pier. The proceeds from this event will benefit the community programs and services offered by St. John's Health Center .

October 26^th - L.A. Vision Walk. Come join several other Los Angels residents at the 3 mile L.A Vision Walk. The event is held to benefit the Foundation Fighting Blindness. The walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. at UCLA's Dickson Court .

Until November 2^nd - Los Angelenos/Chicano Painter of L.A. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is proud to present "Los Angelenos/Chicano Painters of L.A." There will be several great selections from Cheech Marin's collection. There will also be works from his private collection of Chicano art, at the exhibition.
