I have my VA home loan certificate. I need a VA loan from the area I live in. That is The Villages of Lady Lake, Fl. I have been speaking with a company in Salt Lake City, Utah. They did do all the leg work in getting my VA certificate for me, but I believe any company would have did that, so I don't feel obligated to them. Even though they tell me to get other offers and they will beat anything I get, I want someone in my back yard to do business with me. I have some credit issues coming off my credit reports in Oct. 2009. My FICO is 620, my spouse is 640. Are you interested in talking with us? I'd be happy to talk to you about your needs and give you a quote. Indeed if you are buying in the Villages geographically speaking you should qualify for the USDA program this post was referring to. That's important for two reasons- it's slightly cheaper than the VA loan and it would save your first time use of the VA loan for a future purchase where you may need it. VA loans get more expensive the second and subsequent uses.
