I spent Wednesday of this week at the REBarCampHouston event organized by Mike Price at MLBroadcast. After meeting and talking with Active Rich, Jeff Turner, and the agents that attended, I've come the the epiphany (duh...) that one cannot have an Active Rain profile and let it sit dormant. So consider this my first blog post with some quick links and info about what I do and my objectives for supporting the real estate industry... I had been using Active Rain for some testing on some of our products at Altos Research, but seeing that everybody that's somebody is here and can find you, I'll start using Active Rain for it's purpose - reaching people....
The quick scoop:
Work: Sales, Customer Service, Product Development, Marketing Strategist, and all other things "Altos Research." You know you are working with a good outfit when work doesn't seem like most of the time. I'm no Pollyanna - sometimes its gets tough, but as Tom Hanks once said (paraphrasing) - "It's supposed to be hard. If it was easy, everybody would do it. The hard is what makes it great."
Social Stuff:
Twitter ID: scottsambucci
Facebook: Yep - I'm there and LOVE to play Scramble. I'll take on any comers on either a 3x3 or 5x5 board. Bring it on!
Linkedin: There too, though I use this less frequently than Facebook and Twitter
Blogging: Occasionally on the Altos Research blog, and more frequently (but not as often as I'd like) on my personal blog - "StrucTURa."
That's it for now. I'll be around and active. Promise.
