Police living in Cumberland Cove

  A few weeks ago, the 20+ retired police officers who live in Cumberland Cove on the Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee went to the gun range in Cookeville and qualified for their concealed weapons permits. I understand that it was a simple process and that the ex police officers were pleased that they were permitted to carry their guns and that the process was so accomodating to them. After serving their communities throughout the U.S. for all those years, we here in Cumberland Cove are pleased to have these officers as our neighbors and friends. They deserve the peace and tranquility that is found here on the Cumberland Plateau after spending so much of their lives putting their lives on the line to protect us all.
