A painful loss but ...

7.8 seconds on the shot clock...the score SUNS trailing by 5 points...Diaw passes to LB and voila he nails it for a three pointer...there is hope, the crowd roars and cheers...playoff fever has come home once again...a nailbiting end to a game that many have said (post game) was not one the players were all jazzed about.  It maybe so and I won't claim to know anything about how much rest a player needs before the playoffs but as a fan on fan appreciation day I have to say for every sloppy play I saw the SUNS come out and make up for it.  Which is why for most of the game the Clippers really didn't get much of a lead (yeah that's how good the SUNS are).  We were trading baskets, trading misses and a few calls hurt us.  Maybe there's something to it, the SUNS rise up to the occassion and maybe they didn't have much to achieve here yesterday.  Coach D'Antoni sat through much of the game and he hardly ever sits.  So they didn't bust a gut big deal...and I hate losses, but last night every fan was a winner because it was fan appreciation night and one lucky gal from Avondale walked away with a brand spanking new Toyota 4runner.
