Don't you think that maybe next year that Realtors should be able to take a vote on who should perform for next years conference? Come on, Harry Conick Jr.???? I was planning on going....and probably still will, but I guess the entertainment will be found at other locations..... Who were they planning on for next year?? Tom Jones?? Englebert Humperdink? Elvis Impersonator? OK, I have vented...... I am going back and listen to my Black Eyed Peas CD.....My vote would be for one of the American Idols to play next year??? What does anyone else think?? Any ideas for entertainment?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to be singing at next year's convention. I'm moving up from Uncle Bears karaoke at Baseline and Ellsworth to the NAR 2008 convention. I need your support to make it happen. Not only do I sing, but if given enough time, I'll have dance moves for each and every song.

In a perfect world, we'd be able to vote (can someone make Bashor '08 T-shirts?) but it probably comes down to the cash. Who's willing to entertain at that time and for the right amount of money? Harry Connick Jr. is good, but can't pull off "My Humps" as well as the Black Eyed Peas, or as well as Michele Bashor, either. Just depends on what you like.

Oh, and Gary? As we jockey for #1 an #2 position in Gilbert, shouldn't we at least have lunch sometime? Whoever's in #2 position buys. Are you up for the challenge?

I am up for the Challenge......as long as you get my name right!!! It is not Gary. Cuz' remember...it is not who you know...It is who knows you!!!! Uncle Bears sounds like a great place for lunch.....Ok, the one in second on let's say......October 1st buys lunch? I am always up for a good challenge. All I ask is that you play fair..... LOL....Let me rephrase that since we are in the Real Estate field....with ETHICS. :o) We can give Jay and Francy a run for their money!!!!

I am so sorry for getting your name wrong, Gene. I'm very tired tonight. October 1st? BRING IT ON!!! Jay and Francy who? And Uncle Bears is not a good place for lunch. It's a great place for Karaoke, as they keep horrible track of how many drinks are on your tab, but the food isn't great. The place shall be determined later. And don't question my ethics or integrity--I'm on the Chader Team. There is no room for ethical error on my team, and that's why I'm there.

I think you are missing the "point" for NAR. Harry Connick Jr. is a native of New Orleans - the plan was for NAR dollars to go back into the economy of NO. So it makes perfect sense that the "son of NO" play.

Thank you for explaining that. I had NO idea where the guy was from. he has a great voice....But he is no Michael Buble. Nor can he move his humps like Fergi. Thank you for clarifying. It makes sense.
