I originally posted this in my Eau Claire Wisconsin Real Estate Blog.

If you followed my blog at all or in case you saw this in the news Circuit City recently announced it was closing 150 stores. Well apparently that was not enough to stay afloat. Personally I think its too bad because someone needs to take out Best Buy because I am sick of that store and it being an oxymoron. It is not the best at anything least of all the best buy. In fact if you price shop most of the time its the worst buy and after they were caught blatantly ripping people off through their in store website my personal boycott went from full strike to nuclear wasteland. I do all my electronics shopping at www.newegg.com and have no problem giving them a plug because they deserve it.

Anyways if you didn't heed my advice about your gift cards at CC they might be useless now.

Had to laugh...we absolutely despise Best Buy and will not step foot in their stores. I wouldn't go in a Best Buy if they were giving merchandise away! We love our local Circuit City store, though, as our experience has always been so positive there. I would like to think they will make it through bankruptcy, but we'll just have to see. We did buy a new tv from them last night. ;-)

Newegg has no sales tax. Guaranteed 3 day delivery. I can order CST at 2pm in the afternoon and still have it in 3 days to my door or office. There is no other store with that guarantee. Also they can do overnight in that time frame as well. Plus they have their own warranties and services with their orders on top of the usual warranty.

That sounds like my nemesis Best Buy. I just hate that store. I hate going in there. I hate getting greeted at the door. It sends shivers in my spine.
