Beaufort County has a huge event this weekend- the Air Show.  I do not have alot of information at this time...I am asking believers to pray for the pilots, participants, and spectators...and the home owners. I received a call from a family member stating that The Blue Angels collided over a relatives home.

I will provide updates as they become avail...or it will likely be on all the networks soon...PRAY

UPDATE: On CNN LIVE at this point...unsure if pilot was able to eject in time. 100,000 spectators expected and 120000 attended during the 2004 show...not two collided but one crashed out of a formation of six...

I hope so...Here locally, we are hearing that they have not been able to find the pilot just yet...I pray he was able to eject and he made a safe landing...

First report of one person confirmed dead...don't know if its the pilot or someone else..

UPDATE: A Policeman on the ground has "unofficially" confirmed that the pilot is dead. They have not yet released this but residents from the area tell me that they found his body...that he hit a tall pine tree and there was no time to eject...

When I logged online a few minutes ago, I was shocked to see a Blue Angel had been lost.  Here in Pensacola, the home of the Blue Angels, we feel like we are all kin.  My son flies H-60L helicopters and is active duty.  I suppose it is always tucked back into the recesses of our minds that whenever he flies he might not come back.  Most of the families of the Blue Angels live in Pensacola so it is particularly emotional for us in the military community.

God bless America and all our active duty and reserve men and women across the globe.

AMEN.

Our hearts go out to the Pensacola community as your families grieve the loss of one of your own.

Yes, the sacrifices of the active and reserve duty military members and their families are truly unimaginable.

God Bless them all.
