I am looking for input from the Active Rain community on Short Sales. Like them or Hate them?

I know so many of my Realtor associates that pass on Short Sales and in some cases turn around and run when they come their way. Why do you think this is? I personally see Short Sales as a huge opportunity to help the client avoid a foreclosure situation and create a long term client. Have any of you ever had any type of Short Sale training? I work with a few companies doing BPO's and Short Sales and they provide a significant amount of training to me and some great opportunities to boot. (if any of you are interested in these companies who are nationwide feel free to post a comment and I will contact you and send you the information.)

If you do work with Short Sales, how successful have you been? If you do not, why don't you. As I always say Active Rain gives you, not me 25 points to your credit for any comments you give.
