Happy Festivus to one and all!

Every year, when the leaves have fallen from the trees and the night air turns crisp, people from all over the world go into their attics and break out their decorations in anticipation of the most glorious of all holidays…

Festivus!

Well, actually, there are no Festivus decorations. But there is the Festivus pole that adorns every celebrants home! Here we see a factory worker preparing Festivus poles for shipping worldwide!

After the traditional Festivus meal of Meatloaf is served, and the dessert of a Pepperidge Farm cake decorated with M&M’s is finished, the festivities begin.

Feats of Strength

This tradition is when the head of the household challenges one of the guests to a wrestling match. The Feats of Strength can not end until the head of the house is pinned.

The Feats of Strength

The Airing of Grievances

What better way to celebrate the holiday season than to lash out at your family, friends and co-workers? This is the perfect time to let it all out! Tell your mom you’re sick of the nagging. Tell your kids you’re tired of their underachieving ways! Tell the dog you’re bringing him to the pound if he poops on the rug one more time! This is your time to vent!

The Airing of Grievances...a holiday favorite!

And now my dear readers, in the true tradition of Festivus, I ask you one and all to take part in celebrating this special day.

2008 was a tough year for us all. It’s time to……

AIR YOUR GRIEVANCES!

All grievances are to be kept confidential among all of the 125,000 members here on the site, right??? Too funny. I love Festivus! The feats of strength are me favorite! Do you have your Festivus Pole proudly adorning your living room???

Happy Festivus to you too! Can we really air our grievances among family members? Don't people really do that by the end of the day on Christmast after spending it with all your family anyway?

Craig, what about buying a gift the recipient DOESN'T want, with money you DON'T have?  We probably all do that, don't we!

Ed, BPOs don't seem very profitable, when you only get paid $50 - $100 each and spend a good 3 hours on each one.  I guess it's quantity that makes the difference, eh?

THANKS for taking the time to explain this important piece of the puzzle.

What is up with your comments? I thought I would get a chance to read some real bitching from members? Well ~ actually ~ I am glad I didn't! How can you complain when reminded of George Castanza and Festivus! Truly a one of a kind character! The Castanza's actually make my crazy interesting family seem almost normal.

Regina - Guilty as charged! On more than one occasion too!

Michael - Well said! Let the bitching Venting begin!

Terrie - I must admit, the responses were quite tame. I opened the door, but no one came in! And the Costanza's make my family look like the Waltons! But they do put the "fun" in dis-fun-ctional!!!

Now that I've had time to listen to the video, I have one question. Is this how pole dancing evolved?
