What changes will need to be made for 2009?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Real EstateGroup.com

With all the challenges we have experienced in 2008 we arer still Here.  Amazing?  I don't know I think this year has made the ones that made it better and helped us to be more efficient.  My year will end better than I expected so I am one of the lucky ones.  I am excited for 2009 as I have made some changes in my Real Estate that have got me motivated for the new year.  Have I changed the way I do Real Estate?  I think we all have to change as the market changes but, don't let your customer service go down see if we can make it better.  The changes don't end at the end of the year they are ongoing.  We need to remember that the market and economy didn't happen overnight so it will take time to get were it need to be.  2009 will bring it's own challeges so be flexible and willing to try new things or go back to the basics when we need to.  I wonder what my Grandfather (once a REALTOR) would say to me today if he were here?  I think he would say "Tough times come and go but, it is how we react to them that has a big impact on how we work through them.  Get excited about the new year!  I challenge you to make some positive changes and see how they work for you and next year around this time of year email me what worked and what didn't work for you.  I intend to finish 2008 with excitement about the new year how about you?

You're right.  The key to success is the process of constant planning and improvment.

I will agree that adaptation is vital as the real estate market shifts. A new market requires new ideas, more knowledge and different skills to meet its demands.

Be blessed in 2009!

I made several adjustments the end of 2007 and had a pretty good year in 2008.  I am making further adjustments for 2009.  More marketing and added services.
