Seven Meadows residents know that the community is one of the most prestigious in Katy. Residents appreciate great schools, fantastic amenities and a great location. The residents may even know that Seven Meadows was recently voted one of the top master-planned communities in the country. Still there is a secret that Seven Meadows residents may not know.
In 2008 Houston faced the worst hurricane in years. Mortgage companies folded right and left. The stock market plunged. Almost any investment in 2008 was a bad investment.
However, owning a home in Seven Meadows was a good investment. Sales were slightly off in the fourth quarter. However the overall numbers were very good. The average home Seven Meadows sold in just 86 days, well below the Houston average. Home prices averaged over averaged $271,000.
