My little car made the 1400 mile trip, and I even was asked for my buiz card 3 times during the trip. Customers who wanted to buy Real Estate.
Garrison Wynn from Wynn Solutions was our first speaker, and a very Powerfull one at that. His new book, Speaking of Success is coauthored "Garrison Wynn joins best-selling authors Stephen R. Covey, Ken Blanchard and Jack Canfield in a new book on success! Click for details". He spoke around the topic of trust, and why it is important in sales.
Another powerful speaker was Allen F. Hainge's CyberStar(r) Blog, which is how I found out Active Rain Exists. His talk centered around technology, web stuff, and how the 35 and under communicate. Powerful, great stuff. Certainly a man who has studied the market. He stresses that VLOGs and Podcasting should be tools that we incorporate NOW. After talking to my 18 y.o. Wiz Kid Craig Harms, I will be adding these to the company arsenal shortly.
A good presentation was made by a new franchisee (whose name escapes me, I'm sorry...) who has years experience in Short Sales. A broker in 4 states, she had a CD for sale ($15, a bargain, I purchased) with all the forms one would need, and her PPT presentation for S.S. Really good, she'll even coach you on how to do SS's. Other good presentations, Web site awards, and a great vendor presentation. I will always like the RW Postcards plus affiliations (have you looked at MLS Mailings? FANTASTIC automatic system). It's simple, and very automated. BUT, this year http://www.quantummail.com/ came and displayed. A little harder to use maybe, but a very large variety of sizes, Plus much easier to upload full custom front and back mailers. Great quality, and good pricing. Fewer minimums that Postcard plus, but if you only mail out 20, how much return can you expect?
For those who don't know about MLS Mailings, go to http://www.prospectsplus.com/www/ppcom2/default.htm and see all their offerings. MLS Mailings interfaces with your MLS provider, and will send out 100 just listed cards when you have an active listing show up (with your picture, and the house picture), and another 100 cards when it changes to sold. Marketshare online? VERY strong. Play with it and find out just how much you can learn about... People. Apartment mailings? You bet!!
Lastly, Realty World announced the experimental Webinar training by Bonnie Mays is a success. Will be offered to all, with 4-5 training sessions a month. Simple stuff, you log into your computer for the video, dial a phone number for the audio. Live training, questions, answers, and CHEAP. Tremendous.
