An ABR, is an Acreditied Buyer's Representativeand specializes in representing the buyer's and has obtained this designation. Additionally to being a licensed Realtor and a member in good standing with NAR, (National Association of Realtors), they are also a member in good standing with REBAC, (Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council). Members of this association concentrate on buyer representation and must meet all course requirements and professional requirements.

The buyer's agent will assist you in the negotiations of price and other important issues when preparing the contract. Additionally, the buyer's agent will assist you on the types of inspections recommended for your home purchase. It should be noted you have the right to attend your inspections and typically the buyer's agent will accompany you. The agent will also assist you in insurance companies, movers, interior decorators, and assist with your relocation. If you need assistance on selling you existing homes, they can usually refer you to another agent to take care of that as well. The buyer's agent will update you and communicate with you throughout the closing process and communicate with your lender and closing agent to make sure that all issues are taken care of prior to the closing.
