Richard, did you recruit him to stand out there as well. We have one here that is somewhat the same way. He seems to love his job too, figure that.

Sometimes we forget that real freedom doesn't meanhaving a lot of stuff. Your observation that inreal terms Bob probably has more freedom that a lot of the rest of us is true. He is just as much an entreprenuer as the rest of us although many people probably don't consider him to be so. He can ake more or less money if he chooses to. Because he has decided to live a less complex life, he also has the ability to walk away more easily. how much would we give to not be owned by our stuff (and the payments on it)?

One thing is certain. He will probably do better at coping with the current economic climate than a lot of other people. Many people who lived through the depression pointed out that they were already poor so they really didn't notice a lot f difference....they were not the ones jumping off buildings. Kudos to the Bobs of the world.
