My husband, David has recently been building a website for "The Sand Trap" at Tucker Oak Golf Course. It is located on the Southeast side of Redding and provides stunning views of all three mountain ranges with Mount Shasta setting the stage for a very enjoyable game of golf.
After you have finished your nine holes of golf, you come in for a quick lunch at "The Sand Trap" and then head back out to finish the next nine holes. Of course, you really finish up in the 19th hole at the "The Sand Trap Cocktail Lounge".
The owner of the Sand Trap, Steve Hansen contacted my husband about building a website to help people find them better and to also promote that they have a great restaurant, cocktail lounge and evening business with "classic cuisine" and a great Chef. I'm going to direct you to the website so you can see for yourself, however I took a few photos on my own and want to share how sweet and happy The Sand Trap is. We were treated to Sunday Brunch and I have to say I really enjoyed the meal, the views and the the cheery feeling of The Sand Trap.
Located among Gorgeous Oaks at the Tucker Oaks Golf Course is The Sand Trap, a truly great place to eat regardless of whether you are playing golf or not. The Sand Trap has many regulars that don't play golf but come for the great food.

Sunday Brunch Buffet. The best biscuits I have had since I left Texas. I filled my plate full and ate every bite. It was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. I'm going back soon....I keep thinking of those biscuits!
The sweet and special touches make The Sand Trap charming and quaint. So you have a sweet and dear place to meet and enjoy friends while having the best cuisine in Redding.
With great views from all windows and the sweetness of people who care, you will find The Sand Trap warm and inviting. You are greeted as you walk in and taken care of in that "looked after" way.
The 19th Hole is for those who want that cocktail, beer and conversation. You will find the cocktail lounge a great place to meet, watch sports and just have a great time. Mount Shasta sets the tone for a great time to be had for all.
