Some banks, such as WAMU, are requiring seller signatures on the HUD-1 being submitted. I don't understand why it is a big deal. It basically states that the seller has seen and agrees to the estimated loss. Besides, they will need to eventually sign it anyway (at least in California).

Care to shed some light as to why this is a big No-No?
