Mid-February and The Eastchester Market

It happens every time we have a cold, long winter. We get a few new listings in January and February goes back to sleep. It makes for very challenging times. I have buyers that have seen everything currently available and need a comparison. It is always a challenge to keep them interested, excited and active when nothing new is happening. Just what causes this phenomenon I can't say for sure. Is it the groundhog and six more weeks of winter? Anyone else see this trend in their market?

I think you and all of us should start reporting that we have hit the bottom and now is the time to buy!
