The Dark Side
Let’s face it. The economy is a central focus. We can’t escape it. Certainly, media reports show the “economic downfall” as nothing less than dismal. I concur that our economy is struggling. In fact, in just this past month, I have personally witnessed the impact:
A 2 mile stretch of beachfront homes in Florida posted with “For Sale” signs. I felt physically ill
after counting the first 25. Not something a real estate agent likes to see.
A family member fearing forced bankruptcy and feeling unable to sell a property without the result
of an upside-down mortgage. They should be relaxing in retirement.
Two listing appointments in the last week with people who both need to sell their home due to job
changes. But can they sell in the next 5 months?
Use the Force
So, in all this darkness, is there any light? Yes, but only if we concentrate and give every effort we have to do whatever we can. Each of us is the hope…for our families, for our buyers and sellers, for our communities.

Inform buyers of available incentives
Market Realtor Association messages
Educate yourself about the market every day
