Working with great colleagues and Brokers through my career, allows me now to give back to my clients and pass on the wealth of knowledge and experience.

First, I started in The Jason Corporation. I learned the business from James Harwood and Wayne Carol. Two incredibly knowledgeable and ethical business owners. Wayne’s work ethic and natural curiosity played a big part of his success. Jim was very good with numbers and he was very calm.

I learned to listen and ask questions and the importance of the balancing power in managing a business. It was invaluable.

Later I decided to go and work in a residential real estate company and chose to join the largest privately owned company in the US- Long and Foster Real Estate. The owner and CEO Wes Foster is one of the most influential people in the real estate industry, smart, loyal and very personable. The company had more than 200 offices and 30,000 agents, he managed to remember people’s names and personally thank everybody for their hard work. He had a great business sense and was respected and loved by all of us.

I learned to never underestimate anybody’s abilities, loyalty, perception and realities.

My manager in my Bethesda- Democracy Center Office was Greg Joseph. I met him once when I took a negotiating class in my CE class, and I was amazed by his talent to negotiate anything.  He was very calm and calculated, with a great sense of humor, aiming at his target. Everybody respects him to this day and enjoyed the parties he organized and paid for.  I learned a lot and I worked extra hard and loved it

I learned the value of expressed and implied intentions and figured how to negotiate virtually anything

My next office was in Rockville and I started to work with Creg Northrop and The Northrop Team. He ran a tight ship- The #1 Real Estate Team in the Nation. 40-50 agents following Craig's vision, motivation and work ethic was an incredible experience, not just for me but everybody. He was the most tireless, hardworking and influential person.  The agents and clients were influenced by his great manners, straight forward and bold character, logic thinking.  He pushed everybody’s limits to do their best. He was never afraid to ask big questions.

I learned persistence and determination and that helped me stay motivated and work harder.

Meanwhile I still worked in our family business, Home Renovation Pros.

Every house I show to a buyer or list for sale, I see it through the eyes of more than just a Broker, I look at it from an all-around point of view.  Interest rates are incredibly low and the buyers have double and triple the inventory to choose compared to 4-5 years ago.

Sellers are in a tough spot these days, if they live with 2006 year prices in mind. They still have a great chance to present their properties in their best possible way. They need to do their homework and focus on the condition of the house and to stand above the completion with quality improvements.

I truly enjoy what I do. I think that my good fortune in having an opportunity to work with some of the best Brokers in the area has given me an advantage over others. I continue to learn something new every day and I strive to do the very best for my clients, myself and those around me.
