Teresa Mims' Bio

Teresa Mims has been actively buying and selling real estate in the local area for over 9 years and is now licensed as a full-time realtor, helping others realize their dreams of home ownership and investment in their financial futures.  Teresa recently completed intense individual training with a nationally recognized trainer, focusing on listing and marketing properties.  She uses her degree in Management to understand and work with people from all walks of life in their search for the perfect home.  She has had the honor of receiving Certificates of Recognition and the prestigious Teamwork Award while working for the U.S. Navy.  Teresa is a member of the National, Virginia, Fredericksburg Area, and Northern Neck Associations of Realtors, Women's Business Network, King George Chamber of Commerce, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.  In her time off, Teresa enjoys sharing her love of flying with others, photography, interior design and gardening.  Originally from NC, Teresa is now proud to call the lovely state of Virginia home, having lived here for 13 years.  Teresa's and her husband Kevin's most recent accomplishment is the design and construction of their lovely home, while also managing their rental properties.  She has enjoyed the privilege of international travel and takes every opportunity to visit new locations around our beautiful country, meeting and appreciating the diversity of everyone she meets.  Teresa has been the Volunteer Coordinator for the Experimental Aircraft Association's Virginia Regional Fly-in and is proud to support her local community with her EXIT Realty Team members through food, coat and school supply drives.
