As many of you know, I hosted my first ActiveRain contest last month. That behind me, it's back to the grind, so to speak- and doing my best toward supporting others by entering their contests. My often-used "blessing and a curse" phrase comes into play here as well- as the blessing of a great number of folks entering my contest means more folks to whom I owe an entry into their contests!

2014 Florida Realtors Conference and Trade Expo- It's Almost Time!
2014 Florida Realtors Conference and Trade Expo
It's hard to believe it's been a year since our 2013 convention conference, but the ol' calendar say it's true! In just a couple of days, Realtors from throughout Florida will be heading this way to attend a full slate of events being held at the Four Diamond Award-winning Rosen Shingle Creek (http://www.rosenshinglecreek.com/).
As usual, visitors to Orlando and this year's conference will be able to take advantage (2 comments)
District Conference re-cap: nice- but were any lives changed?
Last week, I was one of a number of folks attending our Florida Realtors (FR) District 12 Conference, "Productivity and Profit". It was an interesting day for the most part (though some parts of it did drag- I can't lie). Florida Realtors does a pretty good job overall in providing us with a Florida Realtors News email every day. First, the thing's free- and anything we're able to learn from it is a bonus, right? Orlando Property Manager and Realtor Dennis Burgess (Legends Realty-Lake Mary, FL) recently attended a 2-day class to satisfy the requirements for Florida Realtors' new Florida Military Specialist (FMS) certification.
In this video, Dennis discusses the class (and FMS certification itself)- and how he and others can use it to help fellow veterans, retirees, active duty military and their spouses.
Stay tuned- more great things to come!

Well, it seems like we just wrapped up the 2012 National Association of Realtors (NAR) annual convention...or "trade show" (or whatever they called that thing) yesterday- but it's already time for the 2013 edition of the Florida Realtors Mid-Winter Meetings. "What's there to do at the Mid-Winter Meetings?", one might ask. In short, the answer can be found by viewing the overall schedule:
I've attended our Florida Realtors' annual convention last year, and also attended our District Rally. They were a mixed bag for me- meaning I didn't really (0 comments)
