What defines a Multi-gen home? We're always amazed by the assumptions we hear. First of all, a mom and dad, or one parent, and children under the age of 25 is not multigenerational living. That's a nuclear family. Boomerang children, 25 and older, who come back home after a divorce, or a job loss, do count as a multi-gen living situation. Generally, the reasons are financial - and short-term. The idea is to get the adult child back on solid ground for independent living. Although, yoga and meditation are certainly good tools for coping with life in any household. In this particular application though, we’re talking about the ability to adjust plans quickly. Family Day at our Home in Camas
We are having great weather this weekend in the Pacific Northwest, and Clark County is no exception. Yesterday was simply lovely and today promises more sunshine with temperatures near 80 degrees. At our multi-gen home in Camas, Sunday's are family day and we usually work on a project together and finish the day with a family meal hosted by one of the couples.

There's a charming home built in the gentle hills above Camas. The sellers have taken great care to use organic gardening methods. An herb garden, fruit trees, and nut trees have been lovingly cultivated. Lawns and flower beds are vibrant and lush.
