The long-awaited fresh figs finally arrived here in Los Angeles... some of you who read my posts regularly know I have been complaining that we have not been able to buy fresh figs here in Los Angeles.
Well finally after eight months guess what I found at Trader Joe's yes you guessed it was fresh figs:))
Now I was thrilled, and we finally had fresh figs after dinner. I noticed at the bottom of the container a little one.... Hmm what was that, farmers have been know to add rocks to the weight of their products lately... so what is this?

Almost Speechless Sunday: Christmas has finally arrived at our house...
Trying to keep three deals together before the end of the year could be challenging. Perhaps the Christmas Decorations need to wait... well not really. I have been quietly doing the Front Lights first, well you know competition with the neighbor across the street.
Then doing the back lights to compete with the back yard neighbor... anyway you get the idea.
So I would be remiss if I did not decorate inside the house too. Well with that said most of you know we have three cats and a dog so a Christmas Tree … (32 comments)

In all fairness I have stopped watching the NFL since the commissioner behaved like a typical politician and lied and swore that the well-known player who was convicted of Dog Fighting would not be allowed back into the NFL. Well when he reneged, I chose not to watch anymore Football. How many years ago was that?? Those who know can share in the comments.
I guess I was ahead of my time before it became trendy to Boycott the NFL ,thanks to a certain player who kneeled for the National Anthem. So, with that said I can not help but think why … (39 comments)
