Today's Destination was : Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, CA... Diane took a staycation also known as a vacation staying home. The reason was to quietly celebrate her birthday. Needless to say, it is coming up in a few days and we have been leading up to it day by day. She bought a bunch of cards, such as birthday cards, thank you cards, sympathy cards etc. You get the idea at our age and relatives and friends who are at a higher age might come handy. Coming soon? What is the appropriate time you say that now it is time to actually put the property on the market? I see these signs in Real Estate and just scratch my head... one month... two months go by what is the appropriate time that coming soon becomes STALE? Toys for Tots Float at the Rose Parade. This float was a joy to see at least for me. My office Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Beverly Hills, CA is a huge supporter of Toys for Tots. Every Holiday Party we have instead of paying to bring guests or donating something. We are asked to bring Toys for Tots. Needless to say since I love books and animals. Traffic in Los Angeles: on the road heading home from Pasadena. Look what greeted us. Keep in mind Pasadena is less than 20 miles from our home. If traffic was moving the way it should have it would be a 25-30 minute drive. Today on the way home, we were going top speed four miles per hour. At that rate it would have taken us about three hours to get home. So I decided to take the first opportunity and get off the Wilshire Blvd Exit and maneuvered my way home. I am an avid supporter of Animal Rescue Organizations. There are many Causes we as Americans can and do Support. Mine is animal rescue, I am a firm believer what Mahatma Ghandi said is true.
