Yesterday, I had the privilege of being invited on a boating outing with some friends.  Rearranging a couple of meetings on my calendar, out I went to meet my friends.  Since there were eight of us, I offered to drive as the SUV pulling the boat held 5, not quite enough seat belts.

Lowes has recently been reported to be an investor in SoloPro.  SoloPro is a site offering flat fee real estate services and offers 3% cash back after closing.  This is yet one more effort to "unbundle" real estate services.  Unbundling real estate services is an effort to eliminate some services real estate agents provide and in my opinion, a direct slam on the industry by Lowes. 
 
Lowes also just eliminated (11/2) their LowesRealtorBenefits.com site, which was a service for real estate agents to their clients on behalf of Lowes.  That service sent publications for decorating ideas, … (8 comments)

While showing condos in Scottsdale to out of state clients today, we arrived at showing number two.  This particular condo was vacant and on "lockbox." Problem is it really wasn't on "lockbox."  The box on the door was a mechanical contractors box.  Unfortunately, I didn't have the code to open the door!  Don't Prohibit Showings by Not Providing Easy Access.

I've been a One girl Band With a Team since I earned my real estate license in 2002.  I've tried the partner approach team twice and learned that doing all the work for half the pay just didn't work for me with my work ethic.  So, I've been a One Girl Band with a Team ever since.  So what is a "One Girl Band?"

Many housing markets across the country have experienced a roller coaster of a housing ride these past few years.  Some economists did a great job of predicting the housing downturn, while others were caught off guard.
