One of the pleasures of fall is getting out on the water to see the beautiful fall colors. Today was such a day. Dockside Realty held its Annual Fall Flotilla. We had super weather, bright sunshine much of the time and not a bit of rain in sight. Topping off the day was a nice turnout and a very tasty lunch in a wonderful setting. We dined outside on the patio and the beach area of a lovely home that is currently on the market in Twin Lakes, a subdivision that has access to both sides of Lake Anna.

I am constantly reminded of how important our yard signs are in my area. We are a smaller community around Lake Anna and often I have people, some I know and some when I meet them for the first time, tell me how often they see my signs around the lake. Yard signs are still gold in my neighborhood. Recently I had some new signs made. Completely new design and I picked them up but have not had a chance to drive around changing out my signs. Living at Lake Anna is for the dogs. I discovered this when my mom and dad brought me home about 18 months ago (I can hardly believe it's been that long). Anyway, as soon as I got a look at this place I realized that I was going to be happy here.

Where Can You Find Pleasure Island at Lake Anna, VA? Pleasure Island is tucked away far from the maddening crowds. Entrance is through another subdivision, Magnolia Harbour, and is accessed off Courthouse Road (Route 208) in Spotsylvania County. This subdivision is one of the smallest at Lake Anna.
