Are you vaccinated against COVID-19 yet? If you live on Maui you can now sign up for your vaccinations if you're 16 or older. Don't wait. If we all do our part, the sooner we can get back to "normal" again. I outlined the process my husband and I went through here on Maui, and it was really easy and simple, so there's no excuse. It feels GREAT to be over that hurdle. Check out my other blog for all the details. If you're on the fence, just get over it, and get your free vaccines and be happy and healthy.

Maui is closed to tourists for the most part - stay home! While you might be able to book a cheap flight to Maui, it's not going to be the vacation of your dreams right now. Visitors are being ordered to stay in quarantine for 14 days upon landing, and there can be severe consequenses. You might be put on the next flight back out of here, or you might be put in jail! Yes - JAIL.

I thought I would get more blogging done during this pandemic. Can't show properties, and buyers from off island have virtually disappeared. Real estate activity on Maui is way down. With the "stay at home" order for people in Hawaii, and no desire to go out to the shops or beaches, it would be a perfect time to get down to some serious blogging, you'd think. Not so much! The news never stops about the COVID-19 crisis that's spread across the world. With access to media coverage from all countries, it's an endless smorgasbord of updates and body counts.
