Selling homes in your own neighborhoodAgents - do you like to sell homes and land in your own neighborhood? It makes it easy for travel and of course you know the area well. I think we all have an advantage when we sell properties closer to "home". We understand the weather and climate. See the hint of a rainbow over the ocean, out towards Haiku? That's why we drove into Paia for lunch, and to get a little sunshine the other day. This end of Baldwin Beach is closer to Spreckelsville, and it's great for little kids to swim inside the protected area. It's not so easy to find the first time, but worth it. There were kitesurfers off to the left catching the light breeze.

We wrapped on the filming of my Hawaii Life TV show episode! Last week was a busy week for me and my clients, with the filming of an episode for the HAWAII LIFE TV show. For those of you who don't know, HGTV has a house hunter show called HAWAII LIFE, and that's also the name of the real estate brokerage where I work. Looking forward to Mama's Fish House next week! Birthday party coming up. It's Aloha Friday in the islands and I'm already thinking about next week... and a reservation at Mama's Fish House Restaurant in Kuau Maui. It's one of the best places to eat on Maui and we are lucky to live near it. Whenever we have a really special occasion, Mama's is where I like to go.

PAIA MAUI HAWAII - 96779 See the North Shore Maui Map Here we go again on another inter-island trip, this time we're flying from Maui to the Big Island. This picture was taken from the window of our Aloha Airlines flight on a typical sunny day. Not bad considering it's taken through the plexiglass. The expanses of green are sugar cane fields which cover a good portion of the slopes of Haleakala, Maui's famous dormant volcano. Maui and Kauai are the last of the Hawaiian islands to still grow sugar cane, and Paia was historically a sugar plantation town. You … (9 comments)
